To summarise the intentions of my scheme I set three objectives which separates the story into phases and also tackles the issues of chronic homelessness. This also allows me to define these elements even further to create a comprehensive proposal.
As part of my housing scheme I decided to incorporate a self build programme for the residents. Following case studies such as Walters way in Lewisham, this aspect of the scheme was proposed to build bonds with the fellow residents, gain independence and also gain a set of skills to be took outside of the scheme.

My proposal for the re-habiltation phase, was to open up some of these services to the public. By doing this it integrated both the homeless inhabitants and the public , removing the definition of the site and creating a welcoming space for anyone.

As part of my Re-Introduce scheme, the local services and businesses around the site work together with the homeless inhabitants to re-introduce them back into a working environment. They can learn valuable skill sets and build up their CV to pursue a career which they may not have had the opportunity to before.
Opportunities to later explore retail and customer based careers
Opportunity to gain experience in a specific building trade
Gaining experience both within the building trade and retail
Working within a large stock format and store front
Helping individuals who similarly need assistance back into society
