MESO:PROGRAMME

RE-HOUSE
Within my scheme there are 20 housing units that re-house the homeless until they are ready to move back into society. A self build scheme is also incorporated within the housing to gain further skills and independence.
4:
ACCESSIBLE HOUSING
These flats are accessible for the disabled or older generation.
7:
HOUSING
These 2 bed housing units bring company for the homeless who may lack a family or community.
RE-INTRODUCE
Within these modules the homeless inhabitants can work and gain further skills to take back into society. The modules are ran by the homeless and are intended as a gathering point for both the people of Stretford and the occupants of my scheme.
1:
CANAL CAFE
A popular request during the Stretford pop up event was more cafes and in particular a cafe along the canal.
2:
STRETFORD DELIVERY OFFICE
I removed the original parcel office from the Newton street site and incorporated it within my scheme for more skill opportunities to gain by the homeless inhabitants.
5:
CHARITY SHOP
The charity shop is intended to fund and maintain the scheme, aswell as furnish many of the flats.
POST SCHEME SUPPORT
6:
Here there are services to assist the homeless with future plans including jobs and housing, these services are also open to the public.
RE-HABILITATE
The re-habilitation module literally ties together my re-house and re-introduce schemes. Here there are counselling and group therapies offered for both the public and the inhabitants of my scheme. This integration is an attempt to remove any stigma or discrimination towards the homeless population.
3:
RE-habilitate centre
Within this unit there are counselling offices, group therapy spaces and drop in spaces.
