To successfully develop my iterations I built on the weakness that I found in each design. This led me to my final most successful design iteration.
WEAKNESS:
-The plan has no connection to the site and context, awkward junctions and waste of space around the building.
-Perforated brick facades wont work on the north facing elevations, will just restrict the light.
-The two flat units on either side seem disconnected to the overall building.
-The walkways and cantilever require a lot of supporting structure.

ADRESSING WEAKNESS:
-The plan now follows the perimeter and geometry of the site to avoid any unnatural junctions, this also added more space available to build.

-The housing units are now combined together to distinguish from the public buildings and avoid any residents becoming secluded.

-As the housing units were now parallel in a strip facing north to south each green wall would receive the same amount of light either in the morning or evening.

-As the cantilevers and walkways were not structurally sound, I reduced the dimensions of the raised walkways between each building module.
