Before I began my montages I had in mind the areas and elements throughout my building where I thought it was most important to develop the atmosphere. These were the raised walkways, the threshold of the flats and the walkways beneath the building.
ITERATIONS

In this iteration I focused on depth. I created this through the sunken gardens and raised walkways but also through the perspective that is emphasised.
Creating a light and open atmosphere was important for me when addressing privacy along the shared walkways which this double skin facade created.

Materiality was also an important aspect which would be dictated by the self build scheme. This iteration explores an atmosphere of contrasting materials.
The final iteration is to visualise the experience of walking beneath the mass concrete structure and the change in space after this.
