In the second phase the resident moves into their self built home and a new resident moves into the built module.
In the last phase the resident is ready to be reintroduced into society again and moves out of their self built home. The new resident prepares to start the process again.
The self build aspect of my scheme is explored further here through a cyclical timeline. The timeline is divided into three phases which repeat and sustain the importance of self build within my scheme. This process accomodates to the mass amount of homelessness in Manchester whilst still maintaining the participation of the complete scheme for each resident.

In the first phase a new resident will occupy a built module. They occupy this module whilst they self build their own home in the adjacent empty module.
